When we decided to make avocado fries we were racking our brains about what we should dip them in. After a lot of deliberation we decided that the best thing to dip avocado in… is avocado. Why? BECAUSE AVOCADO IS LIFE




  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • Panko breadcrumbs (roughly 1.5 cups)
  • Olive oil (for drizzling)


  • 4 Avocados (Cut into 1/8’s)

Spiced Avocado Cream

  • 2 avocados
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp soy milk
  • pinch of salt
  • Small bunch cilantro


  1. 1.

    Put all the batter ingredients in a bowl & mix them together so you have a smooth paste.

  2. 2.

    Dip the slices of avocado in the batter, then roll them around in the panko breadcrumbs & lay them out on a baking tray that has been lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3.

    Drizzle the fries with olive & then bake them in the oven at 200℃ (392℉) for 20 minutes (or until the panko has browned).

  4. 4.

    Put all the Spiced Avocado Cream ingredients in a food processor & whizz them all together into a thick cream.

  5. 5.

    Serve the fries, with the cream when they’re fully cooked immediately!
