Easy Peasy Pizza Pittas

If you're looking for some vegan party food, boy do we have a fun one up our sleeves!
This is a great vegan recipe for kids, a naughty snack idea or could served as easy vegetarian finger food.
These easy pizzas are ridiculously simple to whip up, its also a cheap veggie recipe and will satisfy any pizza cravings you might have!

Ingredients
For the base
- 4 pitta breads (whole wheat or white)
- 5 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 2 tsp oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
For the pizzas (or choose your own toppings)
- 1 beef tomato
- 1 packet vegan cheese, grated
- 1/2 red onion
- 10g fresh basil
- 1/2 tin pineapple
- Jalepenos (from jar)
- 50g mushrooms
- Sundried tomatoes (from jar)
- Artichokes (from jar)
Method

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.

Make the tomato base in a bowl adding the salt, pepper, tomato paste, oregano and garlic.

Lay out 4 pitta breads on a baking tray. Add 1 tbsp on the sauce onto each pitta and spread evenly.

Add a generous layer of vegan cheese to each pitta.

Add your toppings (again, choose ours or make your own!)

Put the pittas in the oven for around 15 minutes, until the pittas are toasted and the cheese has melted.

Serve and enjoy!
