Super Quick Gochujang Satay Noodles

Before you start
Kettle boiled | Saucepan | High sided frying pan
Ingredients
- 400g Taiwanese Dried Noodles
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp garlic puree
- 2 tbsp gochujang paste
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 lime
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 tbsp smooth peanut butter
- Water from the pot of noodles
To Serve
- 10g coriander
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (black or white or both)
- Soy sauce
Method

Prepare the noodles | Bring a large pan of water to the boil over medium heat | Place the noodles in the pan and cook

Prepare the sauce | Halve the lime | Warm the vegetable oil in the pan over medium heat | Add the garlic puree and gochujang and stir for 30 seconds | Add the sugar and soy sauce and stir for 30 seconds | Squeeze the lime juice into the pan, add the sesame oil and stir to combine | Add the peanut butter and half a ladle of water from the noodle pan | Taste and add more flavour-making ingredients to taste

Finish and serve | Pick the coriander leaves and finely slice | Transfer the cooked noodles to the pan and fold to coat | Transfer the noodles to serving dishes | Sprinkle over coriander and sesame seeds and serve immediately
