Triple Dipper Party Bread

Why make a double dipper party bread when you can go one better and make a triple dipper? Our thoughts exactly. This amazing party snack will have guests queuing out your door, so make plenty of it. And don’t expect leftovers.

If you're having a party and looking for some plant based party ideas, this is going to really impress the guests!

  • 1 loaf of tiger bread (the bigger the better!)

Baba Ganoush

  • 3 eggplants
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Very small bunch parsley

  • 2 tins chickpeas
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp salt (more to taste)
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Olive Tapenade

  • 1.5 cups pitted black olives
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup capers
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Small bunch parsley

  • Pastry Brush
  • Baking tray
  • Food processor

  1. 1.

Take your loaf and carefully cut three equal sized "wells" out of it.

  2. 2.

Cut the pieces of bread you remove into fingers shapes.

  3. 3.

Brush the fingers (and the "wells") with garlic oil (you can make your own or use store-bought, both will be fine).

  4. 4.

Bake the bread (and the fingers) on a baking tray for 20 minutes at 180℃ (352℃)

  5. 5.

Prick your eggplants all over and bake them on a high heat for an hour.

  6. 6.

Remove them from the oven, let them cool down, cut them open and scoop out the flesh.

  7. 7.

Put the flesh in the food processor along with the rest of the baba ghanoush ingredients and whizz them up into a paste.

  8. 8.

Spoon the paste into one of the wells in the bread loaf.

  9. 9.

Put the hummus ingredients into a food processor, whizz them up and put the hummus in one of the wells in the bread, too.

  10. 10.

Put the tapenade ingredients in a food processor and whizz them up into a paste, put the paste into the last remaining well in your bread loaf.

  11. 11.

Serve immediately. Eat in its entirety.
