This is the perfect party piece. Make it - everyone will be pleased you did!



  • 1 loaf of tiger bread (the bigger the better!)

Baba Ganoush

  • 3 eggplants
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • very small bunch parsley


  • 2 tins chickpeas
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp salt (more to taste)
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Olive Tapenade

  • 1.5 cups pitted black olives
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup capers
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • pinch salt
  • pinch pepper
  • small bunch parsley


  1. 1.

    Take your bread loaf & carefully cut three equal sized holes out of it.

  2. 2.

    Cut the pieces of bread you remove into fingers.

  3. 3.

    Brush the fingers (& the holes) with garlic oil (you can make your own or use store bough, both will be fine).

  4. 4.

    Bake the bread loaf (& the fingers) on a baking tray for 20 minutes (at 180℃ (352℃)

  5. 5.

    Prick your eggplants & bake them on a high heat for 1 hour.

  6. 6.

    Remove them from the oven, let them cool down, cut them open & scoop out the flesh.

  7. 7.

    Put the flesh in the food processor along with the rest of the baba ganoush ingredients & whizz them up into a paste.

  8. 8.

    Spoon the paste into one of the holes in the bread loaf.

  9. 9.

    Put the hummus ingredients into a food processor, whizz them up & put the hummus in one of the holes in the bread loaf.

  10. 10.

    Put the tapenade ingredients in a food processor & whizz them up into a paste, put the paste into the last remaining hole in the bread loaf.

  11. 11.

    Serve immediately - you’ll probably need some crisps & bread sticks too (Remember to eat the whole loaf - it’ll taste AMAZING. BOSH!
