A healthy vegan chocolate milkshake? For breakfast? Sounds too good to be true and it almost is.

This one's choc-full (geddit?) of protein and will give you a powerful boost for the day ahead. Fair warning: this is knock-your-socks-off good.

A great choice for a vegan smoothie or dairy free milkshake recipe... DELISH!

Shake

  • 2 bananas
  • 70g rolled oats
  • 3 tbsp smooth peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp vegan chocolate protein powder (we use FORM)
  • 400ml plant based milk
  • 100ml coconut water
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)

Extras (optional)

  • Vegan squirty cream
  • Cacao for dusting
  • Dried banana slices

Equipment

  • Liquidiser
  • Glass

Method

  1. 1.

    Put all the ingredients in a liquidiser and blend until smooth

  2. 2.

    Pour into a glass.

  3. 3.

    Decorate with extras if you want to, then serve immediately.
